Outreach Rides:

These special category rides are non-TCBC rides that are eligible for TCBC mileage credit, but are not covered by TCBC insurance. Outreach rides are designed to increase our members’ visibility in and support of non-pledge biking events in the broader biking community. A TCBC leader will be present at qualifying Outreach Rides to give a ride briefing and allow members to sign up for mileage, but it is the sole responsibility of participating members to sign up for and pay the registration fee for the event. The organizers of the event are solely responsible for its quality and safety. Members are strongly encouraged to wear their TCBC jerseys when participating in Outreach Rides.

CHIPPEWA VALLEY SIERRA CLUB. SIERRA CENTURY BIKE TOUR
(12, 30, 60, 80, OR 100 MILE OPTIONS)

REGISTRATION 7:00 am - 10:00 am

The ride starts and finishes at Beaver Creek Reserve, located 3.5 miles North of Fall Creek WI on County Hwy. K. Participants can register from 7:00 to 10:00 am and immediately start ride (100 mi riders expected to start ride by 8:00 am). TCBC Leaders John Hoffmann and Herb Schultz will be present at registration for mileage and briefing until registration ends at 10:00 am.
Registration Fees: $20 after May 11 and day of event. Fee includes burritos, drink and ice cream at Nature Center until 5 p.m.; Maps and Cue sheet. Food and drink at rest stops; Support vehicle throughout ride to ensure that all riders return by 5 p.m. Tee Shirts available $10. The route on blacktop roads, offers scenic views through country forest, Amish farms and beautiful ridge top views on 100 mi loop.

The Ride starts and finishes at the lower pavilion of Irvine Park - Chippewa Falls Wi. Participants can register from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m., and immediately start ride. TCBC Leaders John Hoffmann and Herb Schultz will be present at registration pavilion for mileage and briefing particulars until registration ends at 10:00 a.m. Fees are $20 before May 18 / $25 after May 18. TOUR OF LAKES (35 or 70 miles)

Location: Brainerd Lakes Area, Minnesota

Join in the FUN on Tour of Lakes (TOL), an event ride sponsored by the Paul Bunyan Cyclists in the Brainerd area. Be part of the train of TCBC jerseys as we make our way from one delicious rest stop to the next via the scenic low-traffic roads of the area! TOL is known for its varied & plentiful rest stops, with past tours featuring such treats as blueberry pancakes, breakfast sausages, fresh fruit, beef & chicken tacos, hot turkey sandwiches, corn on the cob, cheesecake, root beer floats … you get the idea!!! You DEFINITELY will not be in “calorie deficit” mode after this ride!

Pre-registration is required by MAY 1. TOL does NOT accept registrations postmarked after that date and consequently no “day of ride” registration is available so sign up soon!! Wear your TCBC jersey is you have one. There will be TCBC rides in the area on Friday afternoon and Sunday morning and a potluck supper on Saturday night. JORDAN VALLEY BIKE TOUR (12, 20, 35 & 60 mile routes)

Location: Jordan, Minnesota

Registration : 6:30AM to 8:00AM
Meet at 7:45AM for ride briefing for either the 35 or 60 mile route
Start Ride at 8:00 AM

The ride starts and finishes at Jordan's Mini-Met shelter adjacent to Lagoon Park in downtown Jordan. There's a mixture of rolling hills and flat stretches all on paved lightly traveled county roads heading South towards Heidelberg, Montgomery and New Prague.  There are rest stops with refreshments approximately every 15 miles and Sag services are provided. Net proceeds from ride are used for developing routes and trails in the Jordan area.

Fees vary from $20 (for the 2 shorter routes) and $30 (for the 2 longer 35 mi and 60 mi routes) with an "early bird discount " of $10, if postmarked by June, 13. Shirts and water bottles provided for early registrants. 2007 Superior Vistas Bike Tour (13,19,34, 52 & 68 mile routes)

Ride scenic, paved, low traffic roads. Enjoy cruising the gently rolling hills with views of
Lake Superior and the surrounding forest and countryside.

The ride starts and finishes at Thompson’s West End Park, Washburn, WI. All routes have rest stops with refreshments and Sag services are provided. Proceeds from the Superior Vistas Bike Tour benefits ABC Kinship, Friends of Valhalla Ski Club, and Washburn Cultural Museum.

Fees are $20 per individual and $45 per family of 3 or more if postmarked by June, 11 and $25 per individual and $55 per family of 3 or more after that date. Much more information, route maps, registration and wavier forms available on-line at http://www.superiorvistas.org.

Velo Duluth's 31st Annual Split Rock Tour (20,40,60 & 100 mile routes)

Escape the summer heat and enjoy one of the most scenic rides in the Midwest, with spectacular views of Lake Superior.  The routes take you along the beautiful North Shore of Lake Superior. 

The ride starts and finishes at Play Front Park, Duluth, MN. All routes have rest stops with refreshments and Sag services are provided. Proceeds from the Velo Duluth's 31st Annual Split Rock Tour benefits Courage Duluth, a community-based recreation program for people of all ages and abilities who have physical disabilities or vision loss.

MINNEAPOLIS TOUR 15/41 mi.

LOCATION: Parade Field at 400 Kenwood Parkway, Mpls.

Come support the first annual Minnapolis Tour along the Grand Rounds. 15 and 41-mile routes on the traffic-free parkways system, presented by the Mpls Park Board. Experience and celebrate the Mpls park system during fall colors! TATER TOUR BIKE RIDE (15, 25, 55 MILE OPTIONS)

CHECK-IN: 7:00-9:00 a.m. for 55 mi route 8:00-10:00 a.m. for 15 & 25 mi routes

The ride starts and finishes at Elm Creek Park Reserve, located at 12400 Elm Creek Park Drive, northwest of Osseo, between Champlin, Dayton and Maple Grove. The entrance is just off of County Road 81 and Territorial Road, follow signs into park.

Come out and enjoy some of the most beautiful trails in the northwest metropolitan area. The 15-mile route is a fun ride (ideal for families or beginners) along the Three Rivers Park District paved trail system. The 25-mile route includes the paved trail in ECPR which has many little rolling hills. The 55-mile route is a combination of streets and trails for more advanced riders who want to go the distance. Mileage credit available to TCBC members.

Registration Fees: $25 per rider or $45 per household for pre-registration. Fee includes free loaded potato bar and root beer floats; Maps and Cue sheet; Food and drink at rest stops; Ride marshals available on the 15 and 25 mile routes; Support vehicle and Mechanical support courtesy of Eriks Bike Shop. Tee Shirts available $15.

Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. at Barron Area Community Center. The routes trek through the beautiful and hilly rural area of the Barron Area Communities.The registration fee includes lunch and use of facilities at the Barron Area Community Center. Group rates are set up for TCBC.(Identify group affiliation). A Sag Wagon will be available from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Upon completion of the ride, there will be a lunch available at the Barron Community Center. Riders are welcome to use the shower, sauna, whirlpool or pool at the Center.
